How to: The Perfect Summer Date

I do not own the rights to all the photos used in this blog

As summer comes and goes, so do our relationships and situationships. In the city of Los Angeles, where the opportunities are endless, we can sometimes get stuck with finding the perfect date idea that wont break the bank too much. Today, I’ll be sharing a beautiful itinerary for a date to remember!

What To Do

To begin with, I would recommend starting off at a museum. My favorite would have to be the Getty Museum because of its convenience, gorgeous art, and affordability. To begin with, I would recommend making your way to the Getty at noon, around 12pm or so. This way, it won’t be too hot to enjoy but you will also have the entire day ahead of you. Start out at the outdoor gardens where you can enjoy the beautiful trees, flowers, and birds. This is a great spot for couples to take a stroll and even get some instagram pictures in. Grab a coffee and pastry from one of the stands to keep yourselves hanging until a late lunch after the museum and take a stroll through the different buildings, enjoying the different eras of art and sculptures. The art in this museum is so spectacular and the buildings themselves are incredibly scenic too, making for a great photo spot. If you’d like you could even have a little picnic with your loved one on the soft grass before you make your way along the different art. Just make a reservation for the time you’d like and be prepared to pay a 25$ fee for parking!

What’s Next?

After exploring the museum for a while, you and your loved one are likely to have rumbling stomachs. Lucky for you, I have the perfect spot to visit afterwards to feel satiated. If a delicious, authentic, mouth watering, Italian restaurant sounds good enough to you, head over to Pizzana. Their pizzas are absolutely to die for and the variety of Italian foods on their menu make it so that everyone can find something they love here. The atmosphere is casual and warm, the food is remarkable, and the service is so attentive and friendly. Also, its a close drive by the Getty, so you wont have to struggle so much on the commute. You definitely won’t regret going here for a wonderful time and some amazing food.

Anything Else?

Everyone knows that after delicious meal, you can’t forget to grab a sweet treat, and boy do I have a sweet treat for you. Grab your loved one and head to Bacio di Latte for the most delicious gelato in LA. Their Brentwood location is a mere minutes away from the Getty and Pizzana, and their gelato does not disappoint. With so many flavors ranging from our basic chocolate to complicated apple strudel, Bacio di Latte is sure to impress. The flavors are unmatchable and the texture of their gelatos is nothing short of creamy and rich. Make sure to grab as many scoops as your heart desires, and if you’re feeling spontaneous, ask for a nutella stuffed cone to go with.

This was my guide to a beautiful summer date with your loved one, full of the beauty of simplicity. I hope you give this itinerary a try and let me know how you enjoy it. Please do also make sure to take pictures and enjoy your time! Till the next date 🙂

I'm a girl who loves exploring makeup, haircare, bodycare, and things of the sort while also sharing what's worth your money and what's not. Like many, I'm a shopaholic, so if I can help someone spend their money somewhere it will be better used, I'm looking to do so!
