As the summer sun burns brighter, we have to make sure our skin is protected and glowy. The not-so-secret secret is sunscreen. A good sunscreen will do everything your skin needs in one go. To make sure all my girls are protected and glowy this summer, I’m going to be sharing my favorite sunscreen I’ve tried for the face so far.

What are the Benefits?

This is one of the rare sunscreens that is oil free as well as scent free, meaning it is super safe for sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin. Personally, I am a huge swimmer and love to be out in the sun swimming on day, so reapplying sunscreen and making sure it is strong enough to protect from sun damage is a difficult task. This is why I really enjoy this brand’s sunscreen that is spf 60. It is water resistant and protects skin for up to 80 minutes, impressive I know, which allows for fewer reapplications. I also found that it is oxybenzone free, an organic compound found in many sunscreens that acts as a hormone disrupter and allergen and is known to irritate skin. Because this product lacks so many of the chemicals that are terrible for our skin, I find that it has actually helped to clear up my skin and reduce redness.

Final Thoughts

Sunscreen is so important to wear, especially in the summer sun and heat. A good sunscreen should offer protection from the sun, but also protect your skin from harmful chemicals. I have found that this sunscreen works exceptionally in doing all that and more, and if it has worked for my incredibly difficult skin, I believe it will work for yours too. Trends change throughout the years, but what always remains is a natural, healthy, bronzed glow. Some of us are more gifted naturally than others, having the ability and means to tan instantly without burns. Others of us need the little extra help just a bit more, hence why I have an amazing product for you all that makes the entire tanning process incredibly easy.

Why This Product?

You may be wondering, why this product specifically? This is a multifaceted question, and I have a few answers. My favorite things about this product is that it allows for: an easy tan without burns, an instant bronze color, a healthy glow, and extra hydration. Staying under the sun for long periods of time can prove to be incredibly dangerous, hence why a hydrating and protective tanning oil makes the largest difference in a routine. This tanning oil also contains carrot oil which assists in the quick tanning and aloe vera which aids in the hydration and protection of the sun because skin cancer is the last thing any of us would like to get.

This tanning oil comes in a super easy to use spray bottle, something I find lacking in a lot of tanning products that I have tried. I have gone through too many tanning products to count, all because I love summer and love getting tan, but this product has been the most gentle on my skin thus far. With additives such as tea tree oil, my skin feels hydrated and almost cleansed. I have not had a problem thus far with this product breaking my skin out, so I can attest to the efficiency of these oils in the product. I’ve also found that the walnut and cocoa oil in this product speeds up the tanning process noticeably, and the less I have to bake in the sun for some color, the better I find it.
